Crescent Birch Grove (a Grove of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, OBOD) is a Druid Grove that is located in South Eastern Michigan (Detroit/Ann Arbor area). We warmly welcome any who walk a forest path and those seeking their own path. Although most of our members work within a druid tradition, we have some who do not and welcome all who are interested in joining us in peace.
In the spring, summer, and fall months, we celebrate in our private outdoor grove in Clarkston, MI. During the winter months, we usually celebrate at one of our members' homes in Ann Arbor, MI. In addition to our celebrations, we can also do OBOD initiations for all grades (Bard, Ovate, and Druid). We also have one Ancient Order of Druids of America (AODA) member who can do candidate initiations.
We typically get together for the eight major holidays and occasionally other times. We share meals, rituals, fires, music, and crafts. Here are the holidays our grove celebrates:
We have also had small groups of members attend the OBOD East Coast Gathering and Rites of Spring.
